Now Accepting Applications for Residential Services

The Arc of High Point provides shared living opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities in 3 Supported Living homes and 1 Intermediate Care Facility in High Point and Jamestown.  We are now accepting applications to all 4 homes for immediate consideration or to be placed on our waiting list. 

Each home is shared by 5 or 6 individuals, depending on the size of the house.  People who live in these homes are engaged in activities that will develop the skills needed for being as independent as possible. Each person is encouraged and assisted by staff as they work on individualized goals. 

The men and women are involved in activities in the community that fit their lives and desires.  Some of the opportunities available are volunteering, jobs, choir, classes at GTCC, church, Special Olympics, the self-advocacy group Common Vision, Park and Recreation programs and many others based on individual choice.
