The Arc of High Point honors award recipients at Annual Meeting

 The Arc of High Point held its May Annual Meeting and recognized members of the community supporting the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Noteworthy among these awards were the following:

Outback Steakhouse (Parris Ave.): Employer of the Year

Community Bible Church: Volunteer of the Year

High Point Parks and Recreation: Boggs/Mitchell Ward for inclusive recreation/leisure program

Veronique Faye Warren: Professional of the Year 

Eric Peak: Outstanding Supported Employee 

Case Management Care: Joan Stultz Award (Outstanding Case Manager)

Ophelia Ross: Self-Determination Award

Erica Lichtenberger, Heart and Soul Singers: Spirit Award

Shfreda Drake: The Arc of High Point Employee of the Year
